For Whom

The Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 will be purchased primarily for its RoomPerfectâ„¢ application. It is also the reason why we were so curious about it. In addition, it is an affordable product when you consider what you get for it. Put it next to the television for better TV sound or improve your space if you notice it’s really deficient. It can be the ideal way to improve the acoustics of your space in a very simple and efficient way. And even though no DSP program can replace classic acoustical treatments, technology does not stand still and a lot is already possible today. RoomPerfectâ„¢ makes that clear once again!

The Cambridge EVO 150 is a little more expensive (2500 Euros) but it does have 2×150 watts of Class D on board so you won’t run out of power quickly although you won’t notice this much if at all with normal speakers.
The Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 does ‘match’ more easily with different speakers. The dac in the Cambridge is more refined than that in the Lyngdorf. The Atoll SDA is even more expensive (3000 euro) and has 2×100 watt class A/B amplification on board. The dac sounds even slightly better, at least different, than the one in the EVO150. However, the Lyngdorf still has the trump card of RoomPerfectâ„¢. You could of course look at products that have Dirac Live built in like the Arcam SA30. But there we had more work to figure everything out.
