Het niveau van de ST300 is erg goed. Je kiest dan voor een compleet systeem en een bepaalde weergave en je hoeft je nergens meer zorgen over te maken. Mocht ik geen recensent zijn dan kocht ik een ST200 of ST300 en klaar!
Wat betreft jouw oplossing. Hoe beter je externe dac hoe beter je streamer, transport moet zijn om die externe dac volledig tot zijn recht te laten komen.
Ik gebruik een Sonnet Hermes in combinatie met een Sonnet Morpheus en via I2S haal ik daar het maximum uit. Via spdif klinkt het prima maar niet optimaal. Ik betwijfel of je het maximum haalt uit een dure,losse dac via een bluesound node.

Dank voor je reactie. Ga ik (op termijn) toch voor het verminderen van het aantal kastjes 😉
Zou de ST300 een verbetering tov een BluSound Node 2 met een goede externe DAC. In feite wil ik weten of de digitale uitgang van de Node2 een beperkende factor is. Of kun je met goede externe DAC rustig voorbij het niveau de ST300 komen?
Het feit dat je een paar kastjes kunt verminderen spreekt me overigens wel aan.
