Mijn Naim ndx2 buffert data van het netwerk voor minuten muziek. Kan gewoon de netwerkkabel loskoppelen, dan heb dus geen cat7 kabel en geen switch. Verschil zou dan hoorbaar moeten zijn……ik hoor echter geen verschil.
Zo is dat helaas niet echt te testen is mijn ervaring. Je kan dat alleen doen door echt switches te testen en te luisteren.

Ik ook, maar ben bang dat we nog lang moeten wachten, heb niet de indruk dat de relatie tussen Alpha-audio en Melco importeur in NL helemaal goed is. Maar ik kan het mis hebben natuurlijk….

Interessant. De vraag is in welke gevallen die buffer zou werken. In mijn receiver zit bijvoorbeeld ook al een buffer die ca. 10 s opslaat. Ik ga er vanuit dat dat in de meeste streamers zit. Waarom dan een dubbele buffer.
Overigens: het zou handig zijn om bij de Mbit/s aan te geven bij hoeveel kanalen dat is. Zeker vanaf een NAS speel ik regelmatig tracks waarbij zelfs de content als surrounds is gecomponeerd. Een bitrate van 96/24 zegt veel meer als je erbij zegt hoeveel kanalen het betreft.
Heel erg benieuwd naar jullie review van deze switch!
