We see lots of possibilities. On a desk with headphones or with active speakers next to the computer. On a cabinet next to the television or in a set where an injection of detail and speed is welcome. In the right set, this dac can be a very nice addition.

The NuPrime Dac-9X is a versatile device that sounds excellent. The build quality is impeccable and inside there is a lot of fine engineering. The Dac-9X can be used in multiple situations without leaving a mark on the set. Playback is transparent and detailed without the slightest coloration. Fast, fresh and open without becoming sterile. Thanks to the built-in preamp and headphone amplifier, you get great value for money. Recommended.
I used a Sonnet Hermes streamer, Dutch brand, and that sounded excellent via coax. We didn’t really like the Venus in our triple test. I think the Nuprime is more transparant and faster than the Venus.
I love that it has two i2S inputs. That I know of, only PS Audio has done that.

Hope u can describe the comparison in sound of this Nuprime versus a Denafrips Venus DAC.
Which streamer did u use for this test? I am not familiar with the listed gears unused.
