The Bladelius measures nicely. Very neat for an integrated model itself. If you consider that there is not only a pre- and power amplifier in the box, but also a streamer, dac and a phono amplifier, you probably realize that keeping things clean is a challenge.
The noise floor is very even and is around -110dBFS. That’s at 1 watt over 8 ohms. Looking at distortion, it is nicely around 0.01 / 0.015% THD+N. Power supply noise on the mains side is quiet and constant up to 1 MHz. Up to 100 kHz even quite low.
We do not see the power that Bladelius specifies. We measure 175 and 268 watts at 8 and 4 ohms. Howw Bladelius comes to 220 and 400 watts, e do not know, because if we would take those we would be around 3% THD at 8 Ohms and well over 10% THD at 4 Ohms. That seems a little crazy to us.
