The set-up

We tested the Yamaha RX-V6A on both our stereo system and home theater. In the reference system, we played both from the Ambre via an Audioquest Vodka optical interlink to the Yamaha and via the built-in streamer. In this setup, the Yamaha drives our Focal Sopra No1.
In the home theater, we connected the Sonyblu-ray player and the nVidia Shield to the Yamaha. This then sent image to the Optoma UHZ65 4K projector. Sound goes to a set of Phantom 280S, Rubicon 6 and a Bryston active subwoofer. (We play 4.1).
