Measurements and conclusion

Measurements Yeti Reference
Compare with standard Yeti
Both cables are two meters long. The Reference appears slightly shorter, but that is because it is braided.
What becomes immediately clear in the measurements is that the resistance and capacitance is a lot lower with the Reference cable. The resistance is 3 to 4 times lower. That’s significant. Inductance is practically the same. So is impedance. All in all, the measurements fall in favor of the Reference. Thank goodness for that.
Hi there,
excuse the question but when you say “thick – stranded – cores (3 x 6mm2/ 9 AWG!)” do you mean 3 conductors for Live, 3 for Neutral and 3 for ground? or one for each?
thanks
It is 6mm2 per conductor. So live, Neutral and ground are 6mm2 each.
