Eelco Grimm and Guido Tent have earned their stripes in the miraculous world of high-end audio. Well: in fact both on the hi-fi side and in the studio world. But we are wondering: where does it all start? How do they incorporate their knowledge in their products? And what else do they occupy themselves with? You’ll find out on Saturday. Grimm Audio is a company with a rich history. And with people who have been around for decades. The combined knowledge is unprecedented and – in our opinion – audible. We have the two ‘front men’ at our table this Saturday. We will try to find out what drives Guido Tent and Eelco Grimm. Where do they get the energy from? What makes them happy? Was een hele zit maar de moeite waard! Mooi merk met mooie producten. Als ik nu een mooie set-up zou willen zou ik de MU1 met een setje LS1 zeker serieus overwegen.
Verder heb ik aan het interview overgehouden dat een NOS Dac toch niet je ware is (“Dat werkt niet” volgens Rob Watts) én dat netwerk technologie eigenlijk heel eenvoudig is. Haha!

Dat is mooi want ik heb gisteren de Grimm MU1 besteld.
Ik heb deze een lang weekend mogen beluisteren op mijn eigen set, en was gelijk verkocht.
Samen met mijn MM Tambaqui dac een super combinatie.
Toch had ik bij al het moois wat kleine minpuntjes zoals,
– het aan en uit knopje achter het toestel is echt veel te klein en moeilijk te vinden op de tast.
– geen bedienings-app
– de netwerkkabel hangt heel erg slapjes in de ingang er zit heel veel speling in.
– de draaiknop boven op? Kan vuil tussen komen, speler moet op deze manier altijd Boven ruimte hebben om erbij te kunnen.
Hopelijk kan wat vragen mee genomen worden
Jammer dat ik zaterdag niet gelijk live kan mee kijken, maar zal zeker het filmpje later bekijken.
