With a strong resurgence of the COVID virus in mind, all the large audio shows of this year will be cancelled. North West Audio Show and Mitteldeutsche HiFi-Tage move on to next year.
Especially for the British North West Audio Show, this has a huge impact. This year, for European visitors at least, this show would be the last chance to get in without any hassle. How the flag will fly next year in this respect is becoming increasingly unclear. The chance of a no-deal BREXIT is growing steadily, and to queue up for hours for an English audio show is also pretty much ‘no-deal’. If you are still interested, please set an alternative date of 19 and 20 June 2021 in the agenda.
Uncertain times, also next year
The organization of the Mitteldeutsche HiFi-Tage also hopes for better times next year. And of course a faded virus. For this year they found it too risky to open the doors of the audio show in mid-November. A specific replacement date for next year has not yet been announced. And quite frankly, it is also very difficult to make firm plans for 2021 that will undoubtedly – especially without a vaccine – be full of uncertainties. Too bad, but unfortunately there is not much we can do about that.
