It’s only natural that 50 years later, Technics is partnering with Red Bull to support BC One – the largest break dance tournament in the world,” said the manufacturer.
To celebrate this collaboration in style, Technics is launching a limited edition of the SL-1210MK7 turntable, the SL-1210MK7R, of which only 4,000 have been released worldwide. “Our best DJ turntable to date comes with stunning visual features such as a Red Bull-red headshell, a gold colored arm, a slip mat with the BC One logo and much more,” Technics writes.
Competition model
This beauty will be available from October 2020 – that’s now – and is exactly the same model used by DJs in Red Bull BC One contests. Treat yourself to a true piece of music history. Of course, if you’re not directly a DJ, Technics’ record players – and certainly these – are more or less iconic. But given the very limited edition, most of them will soon find their way to the dance floor, we guess.
