Audio Physic releases the latest version of the Avantera, floorstanders that are quite out of the ordinary and intended for audiophiles.
The new Audio Physic Avantera is a completely newly developed floorstanding speaker. All the components of the speaker together the manufacturer has christened it Power Train. And, according to them, this system should lead to a fantastic soundstage including impressive low end. The whole is set up as a four-way system, encased in a multi-layer sandwich enclosure internally with a honeycomb structure. The cover layer consists of a glass fiber or wood veneer fiber. This should result in an extremely rigid cabinet with very high internal damping. In terms of drivers you will find: a 280 mm bass driver, a 180 mm low-midrange driver, a 150 mm midrange driver and a 39 mm tweeter. The Audio Physic Avantera is available per direct, at a price of €23,990 in a glass white or glass black version. An ebony or rosewood high-gloss version, costs €24,990
