PliXiR introduces the MKII line of its successful Elite BDC power supplies, for when you want to connect the dots when it comes to “power” supply.
The basis of almost every hi-fi device is the power supply. And that’s where the quality is often lacking. Well, a mediocre power supply in a mediocre piece of hi-fi fits fine. But if you go for high-end, the power supply is an important base to get the best out of it in terms of sound quality. This is possible with the new PliXiR MKII line; you may be familiar with the Elite BDC power supplies. The MKII is a further development on James Soh’s design, introduced in 2016 and still unique. It is built fully balanced with 3-stage noise filtering and stabilization.
The power supplies will soon be available in 2 models: one with a 3 amp single output, and one with a 5 amp dual output. More information on the newcomers can be found on Audio Essence‘s Web site.
