The Cayin Jazz 100 is a triode-based Class A integrated tube amplifier with an impressively high output power.
What makes the new Cayin Jazz 100 special is its maximum output power of 2 x 35 watts. This is remarkable because the output stage is built around triodes and operates in Single-Ended Class A mode. Normally, such a setup delivers only a few watts, but Cayin has managed to extract significantly more. The tubes are sourced from PSvane and have been carefully selected by Cayin to ensure optimal channel balance. Additionally, the output transformers have been specifically developed for the Jazz 100, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of speakers.
Extensive Customization Options
The Cayin Jazz 100 offers three stereo RCA inputs for connecting various audio sources. Notably, it also includes a built-in Bluetooth receiver that supports codecs such as apt-X HD, LDAC, and AAC, catering to a variety of preferences. For those who enjoy headphone listening, a dedicated headphone jack is conveniently located on the front panel.
To complete the experience, the amplifier features two VU meters on the front panel for visual appeal. Users can fine-tune the sound with options to optimize for 4- or 8-ohm speakers and adjust the feedback settings. Bias adjustment is also possible for each tube via dedicated trimpots. Additionally, the “Hum Balancer” helps minimize any potential hum to an absolute minimum.
The Cayin Jazz 100 will be available later this month at a price of €3998.
