The new Cambridge Audio MXW70 is a power amplifier that takes up very little space. It fits perfectly on your (work) desk, where it can power a pair of good, equally compact speakers to accompany you during your daily grind. Or place a set discreetly in your living room. The MXW70 has an extremely small footprint, yet this little powerhouse delivers up to 2 x 125 watts at 4 ohms. In bridged mode, that output doubles to a maximum of 250 watts at 8 ohms. The unit offers both XLR and RCA inputs, and a 12-volt trigger enables seamless integration with other components.
Matching Streamer/Preamp
A great companion to the MXW70 is the Cambridge Audio MXN10, a fully featured streamer and preamplifier in one. It’s Roon Ready, supports AirPlay 2 and Chromecast, and comes with Bluetooth connectivity. It also supports UPnP and USB storage. Streaming services like Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, and Spotify are fully integrated. Network connectivity is provided via dual-band Wi-Fi or a wired Ethernet connection.
