With the Cary Audio DMS-300A streaming amplifier, you’re instantly set up to enjoy streamed music — all in one package.
The freshly launched Cary Audio DMS-300A features a Class A/B power amplifier that delivers a maximum output of 2 x 75 watts into 8 ohms. On the streaming side, the unit supports major music services like Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and — though less audiophile — Spotify Connect. It also handles PCM playback up to 32-bit / 768 kHz, as well as DSD files up to DSD512.
The DMS-300A is Apple AirPlay and Bluetooth compatible, with aptX support for higher-quality wireless audio. Naturally, UPnP and DLNA are also onboard, allowing access to networked music folders, such as those stored on a NAS. For those invested in this ecosystem, it’s good to know that the streaming amplifier is Roon Ready certified.
As for I/O, the DMS-300A offers optical and coaxial digital inputs, three USB ports, three line-level analog inputs, and a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack.
The Cary Audio DMS-300A is priced at $5995. Do keep in mind that as a U.S.-based manufacturer, pricing outside the U.S. may vary significantly due to the current trade climate.
