Creative Labs might be best known in the PC world, but the brand continues to release interesting gear beyond just computer accessories. A good example is the new Creative Stage Pro soundbar: a 2.1 system with a compact design that fits neatly into smaller spaces. That said, you’ll still need to find a spot for the included subwoofer. According to the manufacturer, this setup delivers “cinema-like sound in compact rooms.”
Two listening modes are available. First, there’s Near Field Mode, optimized for close-up listening — perfect when the soundbar is placed under a monitor on a desk. Then there’s Far Field Mode, which offers a wider soundstage designed for use with TVs, when you’re sitting farther away.
The Creative Stage Pro features the company’s proprietary SuperWide technology for immersive audio, and also supports Dolby Audio. For connectivity, you’ve got several options: HDMI ARC, USB-C, and an optical input. There’s also Bluetooth, allowing you to wirelessly connect the soundbar to your computer, smartphone, or tablet.
