Audes has introduced two new mains filters, or power conditioners, specifically designed for audio applications.
The Audes ST-200 is intended for lighter equipment or a modest hi-fi setup. Inside, it features a 200 VA isolation transformer, while the exterior provides four power outlets for connected devices.
A step up is the newly introduced ST-900V, which at the time of writing had not yet appeared on the manufacturer’s website. Not only does this model offer a significantly higher power capacity of 900 VA, it also includes a DC filter in addition to the isolation transformer. The unit provides five power outlets on the output side.
According to the manufacturer, both devices incorporate well-known technologies derived from the Audes Power Conditioner series. These are said to improve the sound performance of connected audio equipment.
The ST-200 (shown in the screenshot above) is priced at €1,000, while the ST-900V costs €2,500.
