There’s a very good chance they are already sold out, unfortunately, as just 25 examples of the Revox Deep Purple Limited Edition are being offered globally. It’s not only the appearance that has been customized—technically, the machine also introduces a new electronic braking system. This is designed to handle the tape even more gently, while still remaining safe in the event of a power failure, according to the manufacturer.
Each Deep Purple Limited Edition unit is manufactured in Germany and comes with a handwritten signature. Buyers also receive a master tape version of the album SPLAT!.

And it’s not just the tape recorder receiving the special treatment. There will also be a limited Deep Purple edition of the Revox T77 turntable, restricted to 50 units and supplied with a master pressing of SPLAT! once again.
Your chances of getting hold of one are somewhat better with the Revox Studiomaster A200 active speaker in Deep Purple trim, as 200 pairs will be available. These products also feature signatures from band members of Deep Purple.
