Ed de Jong of DeJongSystems Passes Away

Sad news: Ed de Jong passed away on August 29 at the age of 81. His name will forever remain associated with Audio Innovations.

We received the following sad news from Peter van Willenswaard of AudioMagic:

“On Saturday, August 29, Ed de Jong of DeJongSystems (which is no longer in business, ed.) passed away at the age of 81. His health had already been declining for several years, but deteriorated rapidly in August. His name will forever remain associated with Audio Innovations, a brand he helped establish as a major name in the Netherlands during the 1990s. He was also involved in introducing Audio Note products to the Dutch market.”
