According to manufacturer Rega, its new Replay turntable is intended for beginners taking their first steps into the wonderful world of vinyl.
The basic idea behind the new Rega Replay is simple: plug and play. In other words, there’s virtually nothing to adjust. Just connect it and start listening. All you need to do is set the tonearm balance using the counterweight and connect the turntable to a phono input or phono preamplifier.
In addition, the Replay features a distinctive, minimalist design. It comes as standard with Rega’s own RB110 tonearm, fitted with the company’s equally proprietary Carbon MM cartridge. The stylus on the latter is replaceable.
Like all other Rega turntables, the Replay is handmade in the UK. And it comes with a lifetime warranty.
That leaves us, as always, with the price: the Replay costs £259.
