Nubert has released the new nuPro AS-3500 soundbar. It fits exactly between the previously released nuBox AS-225 and nuPro XS-7500. Anyone who thinks the Nubert nuBox AS-225 is one size too small and the nuPro XS-7500 is too big to reproduce TV sound, there is the new nuPro AS-3500 soundbar.
The German manufacturer opted for an active three-way system with two front-mounted midrange drivers and 25mm tweeters. The bass is handled by 169mm woofers. These are invisibly concealed and radiate downwards. The total power of the Class D amplifier that drives all drivers is 240 watts.
Bluetooth and Dolby
Nubert’s new soundbar is actually meant to be the basis for a TV. Yes: you can put the TV on top (and is therefore more of a soundplate).
In terms of performance, you can choose between white or black. The TV connects to the nuPro AS-3500 via HDMI, supporting CEC and ARC. If, however, you lose the remote control of the TV again, you can also control the whole via rotary knob on the front. Or use the remote control also included with the soundbar.
In addition to the HDMI input mentioned above, an analog stereo cinch input as well as an optical and coaxial S/PDIF input are also available. And if you want to listen to some music from your smartphone wirelessly and quickly, there is Bluetooth. It Includes aptX HD and low latency.
In practical terms, this Nubert can handle Dolby Surround (Dolby Digital AC3 and DTS Digital Surround). Available from February 2021, for an amount of €965 (if you order before 31 December you get a nice discount).
