Hirschmann Multimedia Holding B.V. Declared Bankrupt

On May 31, Hirschmann Multimedia Holding B.V. filed for provisional suspension of payments, which has now been converted into bankruptcy.

According to CEO Dick Kroon, the bankruptcy of Hirschmann Multimedia Holding B.V. and the adjacent Hirschmann Multimedia B.V. is due to the failure of a desired settlement payment arrangement with the tax authorities. While this failed arrangement is not seen as the cause, it is considered the trigger. A trustee has been appointed, and a potential restart is now the highest priority, aiming for the highest possible return for the creditors. This process is expected to take a few weeks. As of this writing, the company’s website is not accessible.
