Watching a movie on the wall or ceiling of your hotel room during a vacation can be quite fun, and with the new Dangbei Freedo, it’s now possible.
Of course, the ultra-compact Dangbei Freedo mini projector isn’t just for hotel room ceilings. It’s also great for camping, in an RV, or even in your backyard. The Freedo delivers Full HD 1080p resolution with 90% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. For even better color accuracy, you can optionally enable the D65 color temperature setting. It projects images ranging from 40 to 80 inches in size. The included tilt stand can be adjusted up to 165 degrees, making ceiling projection a practical option. The Instant Pro AI Image Setup technology automatically handles focus and keystone correction, ensuring optimal image quality without any manual adjustments.
In terms of sound, the projector features a built-in 360-degree speaker system with Dolby support. You can stream content via Google Cast from your smartphone or use the HDMI (ARC) input. Playing movies directly from a USB stick is also an option. The Dangbei Freedo runs on battery power for up to 2.5 hours—long enough for most feature films.
As for the price, the device is available for an introductory launch price of $439, which will later increase to $549.
