This year marks the second edition of the JBL & Martin Garrix Music Academy. New talent worldwide can apply from now on!
The JBL & Martin Garrix Music Academy is back and talented artists from around the world can register again starting today. After last year’s success, the Music Academy continues its mission and welcomes new talents for the exclusive three-day program at the STMPD studios in Dutch Amsterdam in November, according to the announcement: ‘Becoming an artist, of course, starts with talent. But knowledge, inspiration, connections and the right guidance are just as important to become successful in the music world. And that’s exactly where the JBL Music Academy comes in. They offer 30 emerging musicians, songwriters, singers and producers the chance to learn from industry experts and connect with other artists‘.
Inspiring workshops
Led by Martin Garrix and other important names from the music scene, the Music Academy will host inspiring workshops on music making, branding and important business aspects. With all the inside info on the music industry, the Music Academy helps artists with the skills they need to be successful.
JBL – the manufacturer reports – continues to support former participants after the Music Academy is over: ‘In doing so, they are given opportunities to present their music and represent JBL at events and festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, the JBL Snow Party and many others.’
Emerging talent

Registration open
Artists can enter by submitting a motivational video along with up to three music tracks that best represent their personal sound. Registration for the JBL & Martin Garrix Music Academy is now open worldwide until April 30, 2024.
