An interesting collaboration between Huawei and Devialet let to the creation of the affordable SoundJoy Bluetooth speaker.
Although Chinese Huawei is struggling with international trade regarding – especially – professional communication devices and smartphones, the company is still existing. And from time to time, products appear that do not communicate directly with the Internet. So you can consider those relatively safe. Provided that you were concerned about that at all and looked more to competitive pricing and cared less about privacy. Anyway, Huawei has also entered into a not very obvious partnership with Devialet. It resulted in the Sound Joy, a – on paper – very nice Bluetooth speaker.
SAM
In the Huawei Sound Joy you will find, among other things, the Devialet SAM technology, which should create a realistic sound reproduction. It is also a two-way system, using Bluetooth 5.2 with support for AAC and SBC. A full battery charges gives 26 hours listening time. In case of need, with a set of these speakers a stereo setup can be created. The price is not too bad at all: €129. Choose from Obsidian Black and Spruce Green (also known as olive green) colors.
