If you happen to be both a gamer (or streamer) and appreciate a good sound quality from gaming headsets, Audio Technica may have something for you.
According to the manufacturer, Audio Technica’s new ATH-M50xSTS and ATH-M50xSTS-USB are designed for gaming, streaming and content creation. Interestingly, in both headsets you’ll find the same 45mmn drivers as in the M50x headphones. What makes the devices special is the presence of a cardioid condenser microphone. And the capsule used in it, in turn, comes from the Audio Technica 20-Series microphones. As you can somewhat infer from the type numbers, there is an XLR version and a USB version. The former costs €199, the latter €229. Furthermore, as far as availability is concerned, you will have to be patient for the time being: until the end of this year to be exact.
