Shokz has released its new OpenFit in-ears. A special construction keeps your ears open.
The basis of the new Shokz OpenFit in-ears is formed by the so-called DirectPitch technology. This means that the earplugs are not actually inserted into the ear. Which means they are not quite in-ears either, but they look like them from the outside, so we’ll leave it that way. A “beam-in technique” is used that, among other things, should prevent mutually canceling sound waves. As a result, the end result should sound fine, just like a “real” in-ear. Moreover, according to the manufacturer, these “open in-ears” do not allow your surroundings to listen in. With other similar plugs, this can sometimes be a problem.
Otherwise, the Shokz OpenFit in-ears are completely wireless, always nice. They cost €199.
