According to Denon, the Denon White PerL and PerL Pro are the only earbuds on the market that are completely tailored to the ear to generate custom sound.
The Denon White PerL and PerL Pro (pictured above) are the latest evolution of the brand’s range of PerL and PerL Pro True Wireless earbuds. ‘Many audio brands claim personalized sound, but Denon is the only one on the market that truly puts a personalized listening experience first. Denon PerL assumes that your hearing is as unique as your fingerprint and influenced by factors such as ear anatomy and experience. The PerL earbuds precisely recognize these different factors using patented technology and compile a custom hearing profile based on how your ear responds to them, allowing you to enjoy the details in music, movies, etc. that you otherwise wouldn’t be able to hear,’ reads the announcement.
Surround
Another key benefit, unique to Denon PerL Pro earbuds, is the wireless delivery of high-quality sound. While standard Bluetooth technology compresses and decompresses audio during wireless transmission, Denon PerL Pro earbuds offer a streaming experience similar to listening to a CD. This means users can enjoy high-fidelity streaming sources with excellent sound quality. PerL Pro also creates a surround sound effect that enhances the overall audio experience in a compact and comfortable wireless earbud design.
Personalized sound
Differences in hearing affect the listening experience from person to person. TheDenon White PerL and PerL Pro use Masimo’s patented Adaptive Acoustic Technology (AAT), which automatically measures the outer, middle and inner ear to control how you hear music. ‘Other earplugs only measure the outer ear and do not consider the critical area – the middle and inner ear – where sound is converted into signals the brain can process and where hearing takes place. Using artificial intelligence, the Denon PerL’s Headphone app then creates a personalized hearing profile for each user. This customized profile enhances the depth, detail and clarity of the sound, tailoring it perfectly to your hearing,’ Denon says.
AptX Losless
With compatible devices, PerL Pro listeners can enjoy Qualcomm aptX Lossless technology, which provides CD-quality sound and prevents sound quality loss through Bluetooth connectivity and common lossless codecs. Furthermore, the buds support spatial sound powered by Dirac Virtuo. This provides surround sound ambience in a compact and comfortable size.
ANC and social mode
With the Denon White PerL and PerL Pro, you can choose to immerse yourself in your favorite music with active noise cancellation or remain aware of your surroundings with Social Mode; a range of sound settings to suit everyone’s preferences, ensuring an enjoyable listening experience for all. The PerL Pro in-ears offer adjustable ANC, a feature that optimizes noise cancellation based on your environment and the fit of the earbuds when you are on the move.
Playtime
The PerL Pro earbuds feature a multi-point feature that allows listeners to connect to two devices at the same time. With this, you won’t miss a thing when switching from music on your computer to an incoming call on your phone and back again after finishing the call.
The Denon PerL plays up to six hours on a fully charged battery. Off grid playing time can be extended to 18 hours via its case that also has a built-in battery. The PerL Pro has a battery that offers up to eight hours of playing time on a full charge, expandable to 24 hours via the wireless charging case. Practically, the in-ears are weather and sweat resistant (IPX4 rating), have a customizable touch control on the earbuds and come with several accessories.
