As somewhat expected, Apple has launched its new AirPods 4, giving users the option to choose between a model with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) or one without.
Normally, ANC is a sought-after feature for in-ear headphones, so it’s interesting that Apple is offering both versions. Both models are said to provide even better sound quality than previous versions, thanks to the H2 chip at their core, which is much more powerful than before. This chip also enables spatial audio, for example. A neat feature is the ability to nod or shake your head as a response to Siri, Apple’s personal assistant.
The Apple AirPods 4 will be available later this month; the model without ANC is priced at $129, while the one with ANC will cost $179.
