Despite its striking appearance with wooden ear cups, the new FiiO FT1 headphones are surprisingly affordably priced!
A nice pair of headphones doesn’t have to cost a fortune these days, as demonstrated by the brand new FiiO FT1. This is a wired headphone, equipped with 60 mm drivers. According to the manufacturer, these are guaranteed to provide an excellent range in high frequencies and a clean, clear sound. Naturally, the low tones are also praised by its maker. What definitely stands out in a headphone at this price range is the finish of the ear cups with American black walnut wood. This is a very stiff wood type, chosen by FiiO for its property of preventing resonance in the underlying cavity, making the overall sound more natural. Note: it’s not actually black but dark brown.
The FiiO FT1 features an ergonomic headband and comes with two cables upon purchase. This includes a standard 3.5 mm cable and a 4.4 mm balanced cable. The promised pleasant price remains: you can take the headphones home for just €159. And that is also significantly cheaper than the other FiiO headphones from the F series.
