Headphones remain as popular as ever. If you’re an avid headphone user, the new Gold Note HP-10 might be just what you need!
Of course, almost everything these days is wireless when it comes to headphones. But for the true, pure, and uncompressed sound quality, a wired headphone is still the way to go. And to drive that wired headphone to its full potential, a quality headphone amplifier is essential. That’s where the brand-new Gold Note HP-10 might come into play. It’s available in three versions:
- HP-10 – A classic analog headphone amplifier, offering no-frills, pure performance.
- HP-10BT – Adds an integrated ESS Sabre DAC and Bluetooth with aptX HD 5.1 support.
- HP-10 DELUXE – Features an upgraded AKM AK4493 DAC chip, USB-C connectivity, and the same aptX HD 5.1 Bluetooth.
Extensive Customization Options
All versions come equipped with both balanced and unbalanced headphone outputs. The HP-10 models also offer a variety of customization options, including crossfeed, a Harman Curve equalizer, damping factor adjustment, phase, gain control, and a “super flat” mode. You can adjust these settings using a touchscreen, a rotary knob, or the included remote control.
Prices range between €1,500 and €2,500, depending on the model you choose.
