Perfect for on the go: the tiny iFi Go Blu Air portable Bluetooth DAC squeezes the most out of both wireless and wired sound.

The iFi Go Blu Air is a dedicated Bluetooth DAC — meaning you can only connect a Bluetooth device as the source. It’s designed to give a wired headphone wireless capability. Supported codecs include LDAC, LHDC/HWA, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and the classic SBC. This allows for lossless Bluetooth streaming, provided your source device (such as a smartphone) also supports it. Apple users are covered with AAC.

What makes the iFi Go Blu Air especially appealing are its miniature dimensions (just 5 cm tall) and ultra-light weight of only 30 grams. Despite that, it houses separate DAC and amplifier stages inside. Bluetooth processing is handled by Qualcomm’s QCC5144 chipset, while D/A conversion is managed by a Cirrus Logic MasterHIFI DAC. The dual-mono amplifier outputs up to 256 mW. Outputs include a standard 3.5 mm mini-jack and a 4.4 mm balanced connection. Battery life is rated at 10 hours per full charge.

The Go Blu Air retails at €149, making it a very straightforward choice, financially speaking.
