Sivga Nightingale Pro wired in-ears

What makes the Sivga Nightingale Pro in-ears special is the use of a planar driver instead of the standard construction.

In the vast majority of in-ears you’ll find the familiar dynamic drivers — magnet, voice coil and an attached diaphragm. But there are other options too, such as planar drivers. And that is exactly what you get in the new Sivga Nightingale Pro in-ears. Here, the diaphragm is an ultra-thin 0.008 mm composite with a 0.006 mm aluminium ribbon conductor applied on top. According to the manufacturer, this configuration delivers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz.

The earphones weigh just 27 grams (without cable) and feature housings made from an aerospace-grade aluminium–magnesium alloy. Each in-ear is fitted with a hand-polished wooden faceplate. Included in the box is a detachable 1.2-meter silver-plated oxygen-free copper cable. The cable connects to the earphones via a 2-pin connector; on the opposite end you’ll find a 4.4 mm Pentaconn jack.

The Sivga Nightingale Pro is available immediately for $269.
