Clip-on earbuds are an ideal solution for active users and sports enthusiasts, and for them the new Sennheiser Accentum Clip is likely to be a welcome addition.

That said, clip-on designs can also be a blessing for those who simply struggle with conventional in-ear headphones. Not everyone’s ears conform to the shape assumed by most earbud manufacturers, and for users whose earbuds constantly work their way loose, a clip-on design can be a far more practical solution.

The new Sennheiser Accentum Clip features an open-ear design and is equipped with 12 mm dynamic drivers. It also incorporates Dynamic EQ technology, which is designed to maintain tonal balance at higher listening levels while helping to minimise unwanted distortion.

Up to 36 Hours of Listening

One advantage of the clip-on form factor is that it allows for a larger battery. In the case of the Accentum Clip, the battery is housed within the silicone-covered clip section that secures the earbuds in place.

As a result, users can expect up to 9 hours of playback on a single charge. Combined with the supplied charging case, total listening time increases to 36 hours before a power outlet is required.

Bluetooth 6.0 and LDAC Support

The Accentum Clip features Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity and supports the LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs. When used with a compatible source device, LDAC enables audio transmission at resolutions of up to 32-bit / 96 kHz.

The Sennheiser Accentum Clip will be available from 23 July in either black or cream finishes, with a retail price of €179.
