The test set-up

Contents

We tested the Farad Super10 in our reference system, along with a few other power supplies to form a picture. We tested the Farad in a few scenarios, but in the end we ended up working mostly with the Volumio Primo: it showed the differences the best. The Jcat cards in the AudioPC were not suitable; we could not observe any differences.

The Super6 is already amazing but the Super10 is at the absolute reference level of power supplies. No matter if you are using it on a streamer, switch, NAS, … every single device shines on it.
Absolute recommendation.

Important to note! The latest generation comes with a fuseless technology that makes using fuses in the 3-4 digit range of costs useless. Another great benefit.
@alpha audio: would be an idea to update the review in that regard.

My latest experience with the super 10 and the bigger soundstage, is that the soundstage between the loudspeakers is logically bigger as well. There’s a bit overlap in the centre. So to get the textures of the guitar right in comparison with the super 3 is that the loudspeakers should have a bit more space in the middle. It my case it only took a few centimeters, but it highlights and focus details much better than.
