As befits the Germans, the Gauder Akustik Arcona 100 MK2 measures fine. The response is very neutral. The two dips in the response are partly ground reflections, so ignore them. They are also largely absent from the off-axis measurement, which is a positive thing. By the way, see that at 30 degrees off-axis, the high does drop quite a bit. We would certainly turn these speakers a bit to maintain high energy.
Striking is that, although the distortion is very low, there is a 3rd harmonic dominant in the range between 400 and 4000 Hz. Now we are between -45dB (0.56% THD) and -50dB (0.3% THD), but still: it is a sensitive area. And it might make for a slightly more critical matching. We have also noticed this in our tests.
