As expected, the Germans do have their technology in order. The measurements are super clean. Response is pretty straight – we’ve posted a screenshot with and without in-ear correction – and distortion is ultra-low. We see a distortion of continuously below 0.5%. In the bass end there is a small bump at 50 Hz and towards the high end it rises a bit. But as said, everything under 0.5% which is very low. There is actually no speaker that can do this. Certainly not in this price range of 1300 euros. What is striking is that the energy distribution is very neat. This gives an even sound image. Neat work by Sennheiser here.
