While their numbers have declined compared to the past, they’re certainly still out there—often thriving thanks to the ongoing vinyl revival, which has brought crate-digging back in style.
This year, the event takes place on Saturday, April 12. Each country has its own dedicated website listing nationwide and local promotions—here’s the Dutch site as an example. Expect limited-edition releases that are only available in participating stores on the day itself, plus live music, manufacturer promotions, and more. In Germany, for instance, customers receive a voucher from TEAC with any record purchase, which can be redeemed in their webshop—say, for a discounted turntable.
