If you are an Amazon Music Unlimited subscriber and interested in spatial audio, there is the option to listen spatially mixed music.
First of all, it’s good to know special headphones for the spatially mastered new tracks on Amazon Music aren’t necessary. In other words, you can continue using your own existing ones. Certain devices equipped with Alexa Cast – including the Echo Studio – are able to play spatial tracks too.

Amazon Music has a growing series of tracks which are mastered in spatial audio. In fact, they had some 360-degree surround sound available already, but for Sony speakers only. The new tracks are enjoyable on every standard headphone. Subscribers to Amazon Music Unlimited (in Individual, Family or Student form) listen to the spatial songs without having to pay extra. Their same subscription also includes HD and Ultra HD music, so plenty of choice we’d say.
