Via the (perhaps already implemented) Apple HomePod 15.2 update you add support for Music Voice to your speaker.
The HomePod and HomePod Mini have -as promised earlier this year- received support for Music Voice Plan. Which is the cheaper brother of Apple Music and only works via voice control. If that’s enough for you, then you’re ready to roll with a significantly cheaper version of this music streaming service. In principle, updates for both flavors of HomePods are installed automatically, by the way, unless you have deliberately disabled this option.
More languages
The 15.2 update also makes Apple HomePods speak more languages. Finally Dutch, in both the Dutch and Flemish variants), but also French in Belgium, German, Italian in Switzerland and Russian! Always nice after all to address a bunch of computer chips in your native language.
