PrimeCore presents a new streaming computer (server), the successors to the popular PrimeMini Roon-Core servers.

The heart of the new PrimeCore Audio server is intel’s most comprehensive (and most expensive…) Pro-NUC motherboard: the NUC13L5BV5/7. With the small caveat that this will undoubtedly be one of the last NUC boards from the processor manufacturer as they have announced the discontinuation of their NUCs. Otherwise, you will find an M.2 SSD in the new server and memory modules intended for aerospace as well as industrial use. All that should provide a high level of reliability.

Fanless

The PrimeCore Audio server operates wonderfully quietly because it’s fanless. To still ensure proper cooling, there is the specially developed aluminum housing that dissipates heat from the CPU and adjacent components as well and efficiently as possible. Additional advantage of this special design is, that it also looks artistic. You can choose between two versions of the device: the A5 and A7. Available from September this year. Prices are between €1998 and €2398. We found the devices at German AUDIOSAUL HiFi Studio, see screenshot at the top of this article.
