The Luxman NT-07 is the brand’s first network streamer, and you can get a sneak peek at it during the rapidly approaching Munich High End.
Until now, the manufacturer had no streamers in its product range, but that has changed with the announcement of the Luxman NT-07 with immediate effect. According to the manufacturer, the unit should deliver breathtaking sound quality. Added to that, it should have all the streaming capabilities you would expect from such a device. You can use the available USB and HDMI connections (including ARC), stream from your NAS or use one of the many supported music streaming services. Tune-In is also available, which means you can listen to a huge collection of web radio stations.
Via USB, the maximum achievable quality is 32 bit / 768 kHz, while DSD (up to and including 22.5 Mhz) is supported too. As a bonus, Luxman promises that Roon certification is on the way. You will pay £6500 for the Luxman NT-07, at the time of writing prices elsewhere are not yet known.
