The HiFi Rose RS451 will be released later this month, according to the manufacturer — always interesting news for enthusiasts!
As a network player (streamer), the HiFi Rose RS451 has plenty to offer. It features the same separate DAC circuits as the flagship RS151, along with the Rose DPC DSP module borrowed from the RD160. Digital-to-analogue conversion is handled by a pair of ES9027PRO chips, supporting up to 32-bit/768 kHz PCM and DSD up to DSD512. The player also includes a low-noise Rose NRA filter, again taken from the RS151 — as well as its high-speed CPU.
The system runs on Android 12, while Bluetooth 5.4 provides wireless connectivity for headphones and speakers. An 8.8-inch touchscreen and included remote control complete the package.
The RS451 will retail for £2,699.
