devolo is showcasing new WiFi 7 and fiber-optic networking solutions at ANGA COM 2026 in Cologne.
At ANGA COM, taking place from May 19 to 21 in Cologne, devolo is introducing a range of new home networking developments. The spotlight is on two powerful WiFi 7 fiber Ethernet routers, both of which can also be flexibly deployed as part of a Mesh system or as standalone access points. The new models are the devolo WiFi 7 BE6500 and the devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 Tri-Band.
Complete home networking ecosystem
“With the new WiFi 7 Mesh routers, devolo is expanding its home networking ecosystem consisting of Powerline adapters, Mesh systems and WiFi repeaters. Installation and fine-tuning are conveniently handled via the devolo Home Network App. As a complete supplier, devolo now offers all components for a perfectly integrated home network from a single source,” according to the manufacturer.
The new WiFi 7 routers in detail
According to devolo, both models feature a discreet design that blends easily into modern living spaces. They support the latest security standards including WPA3, alongside modern WiFi 7 technologies such as Multi Link Operation, OFDMA, MU-MIMO and Band Steering. For wired devices, four Ethernet ports are available: three 1 Gbit/s ports and one 2.5 Gbit/s port.
More speed and stability with WiFi 7
The new 802.11be WiFi standard provides greater bandwidth, lower latency and significantly improved connections for large numbers of devices. devolo’s new routers operate on the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands and remain fully backward compatible with older WiFi standards.
The model names refer to their maximum wireless throughput:
- devolo WiFi 7 BE6500: up to 6,500 Mbps
- devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 Tri-Band: up to 9,300 Mbps
Flexible product packages
Both routers will be available as standalone devices, in Mesh kits with two or three units, and as separate Mesh expansion units. The devolo WiFi 7 BE6500 is already available in stores, while the flagship BE9300 Tri-Band is expected to arrive within a few weeks.
According to devolo: “This allows both end users and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to choose the package that best suits their network or portfolio.”
