Bowers & Wilkins is introducing the 600 series Anniversary Edition this month, celebrating its 25th anniversary. It is the seventh generation of this successful 600 Series loudspeaker.
The new Bowers & Wilkins Anniversary Edition comprises four models that combine ‘advanced technology with understated style. The loudspeakers feature huge improvements in components and new colours for the finish’, we read in the distributed press release. Traditionally Bowers & Wilkins develops and manufactures its own key components. As a result, technologies from the premium 800 Series Diamond, among others, are reflected in the 600 Series Anniversary Edition.
In each model, improved exchange filters ensure optimised acoustic performance. New, greatly improved, bypass capacitors have also been used throughout the Anniversary Series. These modifications have improved the sound quality even further,” says the manufacturer.
Line-up
The new range includes the 603, 606, 607 and HTM6 centre speaker. The existing ASW608, ASW610 and ASW610XP subwoofers, as well as the STAV24 S2 loudspeaker stand, have remained unchanged.

A floorstanding loudspeaker with top-of-the-range power, scale, accuracy and musicality. This loudspeaker includes the disconnected aluminium double dome tweeter, a 150 mm (6″) FST Continuum midrange cone driver and two 165 mm (6.5″) paper cone bass drivers.
- 606 S2 Anniversary Edition – €374.50
Suitable for placement on a stand or bookshelf, this compact speaker offers stunning resolution and tonal neutrality with superb extra bass. The speaker combines the decoupled aluminium double dome tweeter with a 165 mm (6.5″) continuous cone driver for the midrange and bass range.
- 607 S2 Anniversary Edition – €299.50
Compact, stand or bookshelf mounted loudspeaker with a 130 mm (5″) Continuum cone driver for the midrange and bass range that delivers excellent bass response and layering.
- HTM6 S2 Anniversary Edition – €599.00
A compact, high-performance midrange speaker with significant power, exceptional resolution and precision. The speaker incorporates the decoupled dual dome tweeter and two 130 mm (5″) continuous cone drivers for the midrange and bass ranges.
