Harman Kardon presents streaming Citation amplifier

The new Harman Kardon Citation Amp is a compact amplifier that effortlessly drives all kinds of speaker formats.

Harman Kardon’s Citation Amp delivers up to 125 watts per channel. In addition, you’ll find a variety of connections on the device, including HDMI ARC. With the latter connection you can easily transfer TV sound (provided your TV also supports this trick, that is). At the same time, the Citation Amp is a streamer that can handle a lot of music streaming services. This is done via the built-in Chromecast, or AirPlay if you prefer.

Home automation

The easy-to-install Harman Kardon Citation Amp controls bookshelf speakers as easily as floor standing models, or built-in speakers. Practical is the Harman Kardon Digital Loop system. According to the manufacturer, it corrects errors and distortion anomalies. Which, of course, should improve the sound quality. The amplifier-streamer integrates with home automation systems, including Control4 and Crestron.

The Citation Amp takes up very little space, and the price is also great. You pay an amount of £549 and that’s not exactly the end of the world. On the site of Harman Kardon the newcomer can’t be found at the time of writing by the way, but at Coolblue for example, where the screenshot above comes from.
