The Polish Tentogra has released a new turntable in the form of the WOWO, which can also be equipped with a battery. The new Tentogra WOWO turntable (seen on the company ‘s Facebook page) is configurable to your liking. For example, you can choose the color of the aluminum and also the type of wood veneer. For the ultimate purists, there is also the option of powering the WOWO via a battery, which should lead to extra stable operation.
The running time on the battery in turn depends on the battery pack you choose. In the construction, rings made of kevlar are used and the top of the turntable is made of high-pressure pressed plywood.
Three speeds
The weight of the Tentogra WOWO – without tone arm – is 37 kilograms. Furthermore, the motor in the system is not connected to the body of the player, while on the bottom of the WOWO you will find anti-resonators.
The Polish turntable has three speeds: 33, 45 and 78 rpm), fine tuning is done via the appropriate potentiometers. Finally, the tone arm base can be extended to fit all arms between 9 and 12 inches. Remains about the price, which is around €6000. Of course depending on the configuration you choose and any additional options such as the battery pack.
