Linn announces that the Organik DAC is now available as a retrofit upgrade for all versions of the Klimax DS and DSM.
If you happen to own an older Linn Klimax DS or DSM (and that may even be one of the very first generation from 2007), then there is good news. If you want to, you can provide these devices with a substantial upgrade, in the form of the Organik DAC. This will bring your Linn right up to date. DSD256 playback and 24 bit/384 kHz streaming, among others, are then possible. We’d love to see it more often: upgrading instead of throwing it away, more manufacturers should do that.
