Bob Dylan has recorded a new version of Blowin’ In The Wind. Only one copy of the record will be sold, on Ionic Original.
Bob Dylan is doing everything he can to spread the word about his new medium, Ionic Original. When we wrote about the ‘new’ medium a while back, it was unclear whether special playback equipment was required. The answer to that, it turns out, is ‘no’. Considering the fact that the one unique Ionic Original record for sale will be played a few times during special listening sessions. The McIntosh MT5 turntable will be used for that purpose, and it is – although eccentric – entirely standard in technology. After the sessions, the record will go under the hammer at Christie’s. Expected proceeds from this 1/1 Blowin’ In The Wind: £600,000…£1000,000. To which should be added that it comes with a nice storage box.
