Musical Fidelity presents the M6x DAC, a high-end D/A converter that instantly became the manufacturer’s new flagship.
The new Musical Fidelity M6x DAC features stuff like a Dual Differential Mode, Dual Mono Design and Super Silent power transformers. It’s the successor to the M6s and takes it one step further. This, by for example using a revamped chip architecture and other innovations and improvements under the hood. As DAC chips, a set of ES9038Q2M is used, one for each channel. With that, the dual mono structure is consistently implemented throughout the design. Both output types – cinch and XLR – are equipped with their own output stages. The Super Silent power transformers plus adjoining EMI filter and DC blocker make them whispering quiet according to the manufacturer, so you will not be bothered by hum.
